As you are all aware, the COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly and the Bondi Icebergs Club wishes to take all possible steps to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the Club’s members, guests and the community.
In light of the stay-at-home orders for the 4 Local Government Areas (Waverly, Woollahra, City of Sydney and Randwick) announced today by the NSW Government, we have closed both the Club and Pool until Saturday 3rd of July 2021.
At this stage, the closure is expected to remain in place for one week however Management will be monitoring the situation as it continues to unfold. Please keep an eye on our social pages and website for further updates.
The safety of our members, guests and staff members is paramount. Stay at home for now and we hope to see you all very soon at the Club.

Message for Bondi Icebergs Club Swimming Members: SWIMMING CANCELLED FOR TOMORROW
Due to the emerging COVID outbreak in our local community races will not be held on Sunday 20th June.
The health and safety of our members and staff is our priority.
Members who have swam on a June Sunday will be accredited with a swim for tomorrow.
The Open 50m Championship races will be postponed until Sunday 27th June.

We remind our members and guests that restrictions advised on Thursday 5th May will now continue a further 7 days up until 12:01am on Monday 17th May.
As per the directive listed on healthdirect.gov.au, “Masks must be worn by customer-facing staff in hospitality venues. Patrons do not have to wear a mask unless they are in the gaming area of a hospitality venue.”

- It is compulsory for members and guests to wear masks (except when eating or drinking). Front-of-house staff will also be required to wear masks.
- No standing while consuming alcohol, you must be seated.
- No dancing allowed.
- No singing by audiences allowed.
COVID ALERT Thursday 24th December 2020
We have received notification from NSW Public Health that a patron in attendance at Bondi Icebergs Pool at the following times has tested positive for COVID-19:
- Sunday 20 December from 8am – 9:30am and
- Monday 21 December from 7am – 8am
Current advice from NSW Health is that anyone who attended the Level 1 Pool Deck at the times specified is asked to immediately get tested and isolate until NSW Health provides further information.
If you were on the pool deck at this time, you will be contacted by NSW Public Health.

Bondi Icebergs has a COVID-19 Safe plan in place, and undertake cleaning at multiple intervals throughout the day, and every evening on close.
The pool and facilities are closed today for regular Thursday cleaning. We will re-open on Saturday 26 December, and we will continue to follow our COVID-19 Safe plan.

Icebergs Pool is now trading with daylight saving hours. The Christmas/New Year period and public holidays may affect trading hours.
Mon + Tues + Wed + Fri: 6am – 7pm (Closed Thursday for cleaning.)
Sat & Sun: 6.30am – 7pm
All members and guests are required to COVID log in either by QR code at the front counter or swiping your blue pool access fob. If you cannot access the QR code, please complete a health waiver.
We ask all patrons to practice social distancing and to abide by the advice of the lifeguards.
