Celebrate New Years Eve at the Icebergs
Southern Metrops - 2012
Nice and Crisp in the water for the 2012 Southern Metrops carnival hosted by The Bondi Icebergs and run by The Bondi Mermaids. Aside from the Bergs, others competing teams included The Bronte Splashers, Clovelly Eskimos, Balmain Cool Cats, Bondi Mermaids, The Foster Turtles and the absolute gentlemen of The Cronulla Polar Bears.
The Cronulla boys dominated the male event and won by a handy margin from The Bergs.
In the women's section, our girls led by Dori Miller, absolutely dominated and won once again.
Well done to all involved.
Four of the over 50 mens Men (although Sprouley is a girl) relay side celebrate their victory. Finally reclaiming the trophy from Cronulla after 8 long years.
Every Sunday is an Unsinkable Sunday, with Live Music from 4:30pm
with DJ Stephen Ferris and JConnection!
Sunday nights at the Bergs' are legendary. Each month we have
a selection of local bands that play into the night.
